Delete your ReForge account
You can permanently delete your ReForge account and all data associated with it at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Delete from inside the app
- Open ReForge and sign in.
- Go to Settings and scroll down to the Danger Zone.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email us at support@reforgeapp.app from the email address your account is registered with, with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete the account and confirm within 30 days (usually much sooner).
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes from our systems:
- Your login credentials (email address and password), and the profile we received if you signed in with Google, Apple or Discord.
- All app content: daily check-ins, urge logs, relapse history, your personal letter, habits, work orders, reading and quiz progress, unlocked items, settings, and reminders.
- Messages you sent with Contact Us that are stored in our database.
- Your subscription record in our database.
What is kept, and for how long
- Google Play and App Store purchase records are held by Google or Apple, not us; manage them in your Google account or Apple ID. Cancel any active subscription in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions, or in your Apple ID subscriptions, since deleting the app account does not cancel the store subscription.
- Crash reports are retained by our error monitoring service for up to 90 days and then discarded automatically. They contain technical data, not your app content.
- Support emails: copies of Contact Us messages and emails in our support inbox are deleted when you ask us to.
- Discord: if you connected Discord, deleting your account also removes the streak and title roles the app gave you on the ReForge server. If Discord happens to be unavailable at that moment, email us and we will remove them by hand.
